SEO: search engine optimisation

SEO for websites and online shops

Customers are searching. Will they find you?

I’ll find out how people search for your services or products, which pages they’re currently missing, and what changes need to be made to the website so that visitor traffic can lead to enquiries or orders.

Do you recognise your website?

People are interested in what you have to offer. However, they often don’t make it to your website — or they land on a page that doesn’t help them make a choice.

  • They’ll find you by your company name, but not by the service you offer.
  • Competitors are listed above under key topics.
  • Articles attract visitors, whilst services take a back seat.
  • You pay for traffic from adverts and want to grow in other ways as well.
  • Are you planning a new website and not sure which pages to include?

Would you like to get started straight away? All I need is a link to your website and a single sentence about what you sell →

What I tackle first

Find out what people are searching for. To understand what they want to sort out. Create web pages that provide answers.

I don’t just start editing headings at random. I go through the search queries for which the website already appears, how customers find it, and what the competition is offering. Then I decide which pages should be about our services, which should help customers make a choice, and what needs fixing from a technical point of view.

From real-life experience

Traffic is only valuable if it leads to the right offer.

Flooring shop

From scratch to regular enquiries.

I built the website around the product range and pages for neighbouring towns. Regular enquiries started coming in from search engines, even without any advertising.

Golf online shop

A good position doesn’t necessarily mean a booking.

The online shop appeared amongst the top results for important search queries. However, the product description did not explain to the customer how to choose the right pole. SEO and product content must work together.

NářadíOnline.cz

A structure that allows you to make a selection.

On this project, I worked on SEO, the new structure of the online shop and the content. When we know what people are searching for, we can make better decisions about how to guide them to our products.

How can we get started

Depending on what your website is missing.

Sometimes you need to identify where the opportunity lies. Other times, you already know what needs to be changed, but the structure or content is lacking. I’ll propose the scope of the work once I’ve assessed the website.

SEO analysis and priorities

When you don’t know why people can’t find you, or where to start.

  • What customers are looking for and what they call it
  • Which pages work and which are missing
  • What to tackle first

Website structure and content

Now that you know your website doesn’t reflect how customers make their choices.

  • Website design for services or categories
  • Content based on queries and the decision-making stage
  • Linking pages that belong together

Review the contents →

Reviewing changes and next steps

If you’re already working on SEO and need to find out what brings in the right visitors.

  • Monitoring performance in Search Console
  • Traffic quality and the path to demand
  • Recommendations for next steps

What you get

A plan that can be used to decide what the website should do.

  • You’ll see which topics are worth targeting and why.
  • You’ll know which pages to create, edit or link to.
  • We’ll discuss how to tell whether the changes are generating relevant traffic and enquiries.
What happens after the report

All you need to start with is your website and your goal.

1.

Just tell us who you want to reach

Send us your website and let us know which services or products you’d like to offer your customers more effectively.

2.

I will draw up a scope of work

I’ll tell you what I need to find out, what you’ll get in return, and what price and deadline it makes sense to agree on.

3.

You will be provided with a basis for making changes

Depending on what we’ve agreed, this will be an analysis setting out priorities, a proposed structure or specific content. You can build on it yourself or work on it with me.

Next step

Send me the website. We’ll find out what customers are looking for and where to start.

You don’t need to have a finished brief or choose a service by its name. All you need is a link and a single sentence explaining what you want to improve.

Tell me what you’re selling. I’ll find out how people search for it.

All I need is your website address and a single sentence explaining what’s most important for you to sell. I’ll get back to you with what I can find out and how much it will cost.

If it’s better to start somewhere else, I’ll let you know. This isn’t a binding order.
